Redcliffe Environmental Forum - Welcome Back our shorebirds to Deception Bay

Join the Redcliffe Environmental Forum for a family event celebrating the return of Deception Bay's international migratory birds.

This event presents a fantastic opportunity to learn about the wading birds of Moreton Bay and participate in fun activities like:

• Create a Migratory Bird Postcard
• Learn how to draw a cartoon character
• Colour a wading bird
• Guided walks

Schedule:

• 9:00 am Guided Walk One, Meet at Beaufort Place, Deception Bay
• 9:30 am Guided Walk Two, Meet at Balmoral Street, Deception Bay
• 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Family Events at the Deception Bay Environmental Hub, including:

         Postcard creativity activity

         Flock Oz wading bird activity

         How to draw a cartoon curlew

• 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Presentation on Wading Birds of Moreton Bay
• 12:00 pm - Refreshments
