 f the Gold Coast's most ecologically significant natural areas. The park i
 s home to wild koalas\, wallabies\, and a number of rare and threatened pl
 ant species\, and holds deep cultural heritage and significance to the Kom
 bumerri people. Protecting and restoring this remarkable conservation park
  is at the heart of everything Friends of David\nFleay Conservation Park d
 oes.\nMeeting twice a month\, Friends of David Fleay Conservation Park bri
 ngs together passionate community volunteers to help care for and restore 
 this important Gold Coast conservation area through practical\, hands-on e
 nvironmental work. Volunteers can assist with activities such as weed remo
 val\, habitat restoration\, citizen science surveys\, and educational acti
 vities that encourage a deeper connection to this special place and its ri
 ch biodiversity.\nPerfect for Gold Coast nature lovers\, bushcare voluntee
 rs\, students\, and anyone passionate about wildlife conservation and prot
 ecting Queensland's natural environment\, these volunteer-led habitat rest
 oration days offer a rewarding way to gain practical conservation experien
 ce\, connect with the local Gold Coast community\, and make a real differe
 nce for one of the region's most valued natural areas.\nNew and experience
