  The Friends group works the southern side (Palm Beach)\, a narrow strip o
 f remnant vegetation that is home to the endangered stinking cryptocaryia 
 and may even have a koala passing through!\nThis monthly environmental vol
 unteering opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to connect to a dynami
 c community and give back to nature. Work alongside a friendly group of lo
 cal volunteers\, learn about the park’s ecology\, and enjoy the scenic b
 ackdrop of Tallebudgera Creek. Bonus tip: pack your swimmers and a towel f
 or a swim after the event!\nNew and experienced volunteers are welcome. A 
 moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 
 16+\, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.\nNo formal
