The park is home to a rich diversity of native plants and animals\, including koalas and a variety of bird species\, and plays a vital role in conserving biodiversity and providing nature-based recreat ion opportunities for the local community.\n\nLed by passionate community volunteers\, Daisy Hill Natural Area Volunteers meet twice a month to help care for and restore the conservation park through practical environmenta l work. Volunteers may assist with activities such as weed management\, ha bitat restoration\, native planting\, guided walks\, track maintenance\, a nd protecting important wildlife habitat from environmental threats.\n\nPe rfect for nature lovers\, bushcare volunteers\, students\, families\, and anyone passionate about protecting Queensland’s natural environment\, th ese volunteer-led conservation days are a rewarding way to gain practical environmental experience\, connect with the local community\, and help car e for one of South East Queensland’s valued conservation areas.\nNew and experienced volunteers are welcome.
