Noosa Volunteer Event – Noosa National Park

Join Friends of Parks – Noosa and Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships rangers for a hands-on conservation volunteering event in the Noosa region.

Set within one of Queensland’s most iconic natural landscapes, Noosa National Park and surrounding protected areas are renowned for their coastal scenery, diverse ecosystems, abundant wildlife, and significant cultural heritage. From rainforest and heathlands to coastal dunes and eucalypt forests, these habitats require ongoing care to protect native biodiversity and manage threats such as invasive weeds, erosion, and high visitor impacts.

These monthly volunteer conservation events provide a rewarding opportunity to work alongside QPWS rangers, learn about national park management, and contribute to the protection of Noosa’s unique natural environment. Volunteers may assist with activities such as bush regeneration, weed control, habitat restoration, track maintenance, and environmental monitoring while gaining insight into the ecological and cultural values of the landscape.

Perfect for nature lovers, aspiring park rangers, conservation students, bushcare volunteers, and anyone passionate about environmental conservation, these ranger-led volunteer days are a great way to gain practical conservation experience, connect with like-minded people, and help care for one of Queensland’s most loved national parks.

New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+. RSVP is essential.
