This unique conservation area is an important refuge for thr eatened species and plays a key role in protecting the environmental healt h of the Currimundi Lake catchment.\n\nThese monthly volunteer conservatio n events provide an opportunity to work alongside QPWS rangers while learn ing about the park’s biodiversity\, cultural significance\, and ongoing conservation challenges. Volunteers may assist with activities such as wee d control\, habitat restoration\, native planting\, track maintenance\, an d protecting sensitive coastal ecosystems from environmental threats.\n\nP erfect for nature lovers\, aspiring park rangers\, conservation students\, bushcare volunteers\, and anyone passionate about protecting Queensland ’s natural environment\, these ranger-led volunteer days are a rewarding way to gain practical conservation experience\, connect with the local co mmunity\, and help care for one of the Sunshine Coast’s most important c oastal conservation areas.\nNew and experienced volunteers are welcome.
