Support Community. Support Environment.
For just $10 per year you can support conservation initiatives across Queensland and help shape the future of our organisation.
Why join Friends of Parks Queensland?
Becoming a member means directly supporting community-led conservation across Queensland’s national and conservation parks. Your membership helps fund on-ground projects, empowers volunteer groups, and strengthens partnerships that protect our shared biocultural heritage.
As a member, you’ll be part of a community committed to caring for the places we all value. You’ll receive an invitation to our Annual General Meeting and the opportunity to vote on important organisational decisions. In joining, you’ll support what we stand for – the Objects set out in our Constitution – and agree to abide by our Constitution and Membership Policy.
Membership is a way to stay informed or get more involved, with the flexibility to engage in a way that suits you. Anyone aged 18 and over can join Friends of Parks Queensland, no matter where you live. Applications are reviewed by our Management Committee, and our members are at the heart of everything we do.
Your membership supports

Conservation Projects
From plants, to insects, and mammals. Your support enables us to undertake on-ground conservation for our rare and threatened species, hand-in-hand with rangers and local communities.

Local Community
Local Friends of Parks groups operate on little to no funding. Your support can help ensure they’re resourced to undertake their critical conservation work well into the future.

Engagement & Education
You can’t care for what you don’t know. We hold community engagement and training sessions across Queensland to connect community with their local environment.
