Donations and Transactions
Donations made through this website are processed by third-party payment providers (Charitable and Stripe). By making a donation, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. Donations to FoPQ as a registered DGR-1 charity may be tax-deductible. A receipt will be issued to the email address provided at the time of donation.
As a charitable organisation, FoPQ does not generally offer refunds on donations. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us at admin@friendsofparksqld.org within 7 days and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis. Membership fee refund requests are handled in accordance with our membership terms. Membership fees are not tax deductible.
Privacy
FoPQ and its members organise and promote events and volunteer activities in Queensland’s parks and protected areas. Participation in any FoPQ event or volunteer activity is at your own risk. FoPQ recommends that all participants take reasonable precautions for their safety, including wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, carrying sufficient water, and following the guidance of event organisers. Event organisers have the right to refuse a volunteers attendance at an event if attendees do not have appropriate personal protective equipment or are behaving inappropriately.
FoPQ’s Limitation of Liability (see below) applies to all events and activities. For specific safety information relating to a particular event, please contact the relevant event organiser directly.

To the extent permitted by law, FoPQ is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from participation in any FoPQ event or activity.
