Gold Coast Volunteer Event – Burleigh Head National Park (Jellurgal) Habitat Restoration

This iconic Park is calling for volunteers to help conserve critical habitat for wildlife on Kombumerri Country.

Did you know Burleigh Head National Park (Jellurgal) is one of the most visited National Parks in Queensland? With a trove of threatened species, ecological communities, and enormous cultural significance, this Park deserves community-led care to help it thrive for future generations.

This group is led by Mitch Grieve, an ecological restoration expert and Burleigh local who has kindly volunteered his time and expertise to teach the community about this special place and guide restoration efforts.

New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
