Gold Coast Volunteer Event – David Fleay Conservation Park Habitat Restoration RELAUNCH

Friends of David Fleay Conservation Park are back under new leadership – and you’re invited to joint he celebrations!

Located along the northern banks of Tallebudgera Creek is David Fleay Conservation Park, just outside David Fleay Wildlife Park on Kombumerri Country, southern Gold Coast. The conservation park is home to wild koalas, wallabies, and a handful of rare and threatened plant species. It is also rich in cultural heritage, with enormous significance to the Kombumerri people. is the jewel in the crown of the Gold Coast coastline.

All are invited to join the next chapter of this group who will be removing weeds, hosting educational events, and conducting citizen science surveys to encourage a deeper connection to place and offer an opportunity for the community get hands-on in conservation. No prior experience is required. These events are best suited for ages 16+, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
