Gold Coast Volunteer Event – Nerang National Park Habitat Restoration

Gold Coast Volunteer Event – Nerang National Park Habitat Restoration

Join a hands-on conservation volunteer event on the Gold Coast with Friends of Nerang National Park. Help restore natural habitat by removing invasive weeds and supporting the park’s rich biodiversity.

Located on Kombumerri Country, Nerang National Park spans more than 1,600 hectares in the central Gold Coast and provides habitat for over 12 threatened species, rare ecological communities, and diverse native wildlife.

This monthly environmental volunteering opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to give back to nature. Work alongside a friendly group of local volunteers, learn about the park’s ecology, and connect with others who are passionate about protecting Queensland’s natural areas.

New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
