Gold Coast Volunteer Event – Springbrook National Park Habitat Restoration
Join a hands-on conservation volunteer event in the Gold Coast hinterland with Springbrook Weedbusters. Help restore natural habitat by removing invasive flora.
Located in the Yugumbeh language region, Springbrook National Park spans more than 6,000 hectares and is part of the Shield Volcano Group of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. The Weedbusters hold monthly events on the Springbrook Plateau with a team of skilled volunteers. At these events, there is every chance you will connect with rangers, botanists, keen naturalists, and more – all of whom flock to this special place.
New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
