Gold Coast Volunteer Event – Tallebudgera Creek Conservation Park Habitat Restoration
Join a hands-on conservation volunteer event on the Gold Coast with Friends of Tallebudgera Creek Conservation Park. Help restore natural habitat by removing invasive weeds and supporting the park’s rich biodiversity.
Located on Kombumerri Country, Tallebudgera Creek Conservation Park flanks the northern and southern sections of Tallebudgera Creek on the Gold Coast. The Friends group works the southern side (Palm Beach), a narrow strip of remnant vegetation that is home to the endangered stinking cryptocaryia and may even have a koala passing through!
This monthly environmental volunteering opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to connect to a dynamic community and give back to nature. Work alongside a friendly group of local volunteers, learn about the park’s ecology, and enjoy the scenic backdrop of Tallebudgera Creek. Bonus tip: pack your swimmers and a towel for a swim after the event!
New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
