Sunshine Coast Volunteer Event – Glass House Mountains National Park
Join a hands-on conservation volunteer event in the Sunshine Coast alongside Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships rangers with Friends of Parks – Glass House Mountains.
Located on Kabi Kabi Country, Glass House Mountains National Park is an Australian-heritage listed landscape of impressive peaks, endemic flora, and endless hidden treasurers throughout the 692 hectare park. The Friends group undertakes a range of activities to help the rangers, from track maintenances, to habitat restoration, or improving park facilities.
This monthly volunteering event is a great way to connect with rangers, learn about the history and biocultural values of the landscape, and lend a hand to help look after it. Ever wondered what it’s like to be a ranger, or looking to score a job as a ranger in the future? These ranger-led events is perfect for you!
New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+. RSVP is essential.
