Logan Volunteer Event – Daisy Hill Conservation Park Habitat Restoration
Join Daisy Hill Natural Area Volunteers for a hands-on conservation volunteering event in Daisy Hill Conservation Park.
Located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Daisy Hill Conservation Park protects an important area of native bushland, eucalyptus forest, and wildlife habitat within South East Queensland’s urban corridor. The park is home to a rich diversity of native plants and animals, including koalas and a variety of bird species, and plays a vital role in conserving biodiversity and providing nature-based recreation opportunities for the local community.
Led by passionate community volunteers, Daisy Hill Natural Area Volunteers meet twice a month to help care for and restore the conservation park through practical environmental work. Volunteers may assist with activities such as weed management, habitat restoration, native planting, guided walks, track maintenance, and protecting important wildlife habitat from environmental threats.
Perfect for nature lovers, bushcare volunteers, students, families, and anyone passionate about protecting Queensland’s natural environment, these volunteer-led conservation days are a rewarding way to gain practical environmental experience, connect with the local community, and help care for one of South East Queensland’s valued conservation areas.
New and experienced volunteers are welcome. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. This event is suitable for ages 16+, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. RSVP is essential.
